Sinopse:​ The series is inspired in the stories of the invasions, trade and explorations of this Nordic people from Medieval Scandinavia. There series follows the adventures of the legendary Viking leader Ragnar Lothbrok and his family and crew as clearly related in the sagas Ragnars saga loðbrókar and Ragnarssona þáttr of the XIII century and also in the work of the 12th century author, Saxo Grammaticus, Gesta Danorum.
